Dr. Mike Lane’s passion is guiding people into their bodies, so they feel empowered to take care of themselves intelligently and effectively.
Dr. Mike is a Chiropractor, Anatomy Teacher and Master Foundation Training Instructor. Over the last 25 years, he has studied a wide spectrum of healing modalities, including Chiropractic, Zone Therapy, Hendrickson Method of orthopedic manual therapy, Cranio-sacral, Active Release Technique (ART), Foundation Training (FT), shadow work and Men’s Work. He believes that many of the most common dis-eases stem from the mind distracting you from your body’s innate wisdom.

      Dr. Mike offers comprehensive therapeutic modalities personalized for each patient who walks in the door. Sessions may include Chiropractic Adjustments for the spine and extremities, Hendrickson Method orthopedic massage, Applied Kinesiology, Craniosacral, Zone Therapy, and/or Foundation Training. Every patient receives a personalized care plan to relieve pain, improve performance, and empower themselves with the tools and resources they need to live, move and feel better.

      The Hendrickson Method is an advanced system of orthopedic manual therapy that uses a combination of three techniques—Wave Mobilization®, Joint Mobilization, and Muscle Energy Technique (MET)—to treat acute and chronic pain by addressing soft tissues, joints, and the nervous system. The method focuses on improving function rather than just providing temporary symptom relief, and it aims to reduce pain, restore mobility, and promote relaxation.

      Foundation Training (FT) is designed to help you create habits that help you thrive in your daily and active life. Most people discover FT because they have some form of physical limitation. FT is based on basic fundamentals of movement sequences for your body to thrive. It is an accessible, safe movement modality that focuses on strengthening your posterior chain., which are your postural muscles. The movements are designed to enhance both strength and mobility, so you feel confident in your daily and active life.

      AnatomySense workshops are designed for everyone, not just yoga teachers. Dr. Mike encounters yoga students and patients who would love to know more about what is actually happening in their body when they practice yoga and other forms of movement, but are not necessarily interested in a full teacher training. These workshops are a wonderful way to learn the basics of anatomy, touch, and functional movement. His viewpoint comes from the realm of chiropractic where the balance of mobility and stability is paramount. His main intention is for you to feel yourself, fully present and engaged as you move and feel. Dr. Mike wants you to feel empowered through applied knowledge, so that you know what is best for your body.

DR. MIKE
Dr. Mike is the founder of AnatomySense - a dynamic approach to teaching anatomy in yoga teacher trainings that inspires the avid student's quest to understand themselves and their students.
He also teaches Foundation Training (FT) - a performance and postural program designed to optimize health through movement and awareness. In his years of practice, he has found FT to be the #1 home remedy for healing and vitality.
Dr. Mike also leads weekend retreats for Men, supporting them in becoming more compassionate and vulnerable.
